Weeks ago, Sabine pulled out all of the photos from the era before online internet storage and went through these photo essays of our life together. That will be what I will be doing today — four days now after her death — to begin a very long, painful, tear-filled journey to begin to heal a heart shattered!
To a great extent a number of the following photos captures Sabine’s resilience in the face of a terminal cancer and kidney failure as they show her commitment (with portable and home hemodialysis to live a ful and vibrant life. Therefore, we did 5/7 day dialysis in Glacer Park at 6,000+ feet elevation, on a train ride to San Antonio, on our boat, in a camper, plus many hotel rooms.
Won’t you join me?
Her beautiful smile was always so infectious.
