More on the Death of a Son

David - Thank you for your honesty, for your perceptions, for the deep love you have for all in your family. None of us can experience the depth of your pain, but you have helped us to at least get a glimpse of what you are going through. Love and care surrounds you and all of your family -- first, God's love and care and then the love and care of all of us who know you. May there be moments of hope in the midst of all this sadness. Phil Haslanger
David, Wayne and I are so grateful for your gut-wrenching honesty and your willingness to address this horror in front of God and us. May God do the unthinkable for you, your family, Matthew himself.May God yet again empty a tomb.
I know all to well the feelings of helplessness of watching someone you love struggle; with addiction. Guy committed suicide one day at a time for many years until the Lord mercifully called him home. You expressed so eloquently all those feelings I had when Guy was called home. You helped me to look to God for healing. May the anger and despair you feel be transformed by the knowledge that your son is now in the living embrace of God where mortal pain no longer exists. John W.
